The Loft is a 400 capacity room located in the shadows of the state capitol. Located just two miles from Michigan State University, the Loft is dedicated to original music and cool concepts. Acts such as AWOL Nation, As I Lay Dying, Lindsey Stirling, Foxy Shazam, Mutemath, GRiZ, Neon Trees and The Wombats have all graced the stage.

Ultimate Painting (UP) is a live event series celebrating artistic talent of local and regional painters. Artists are provided the supplies to create their best work in only 20 minutes, across 3 rounds, while the audience mingles among them. Finished pieces are then voted on by the audience and subsequently auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the artists and a local charity. The winners receive a cash prize and the honor of advancing to the state finals, taking place in Lansing in July. Music plays, drinks rise and audiences witness paintings emerge from the minds of their favorite artists during this Ultimate Painting experience.
