7:00 pm

Have you been itching for another great night of beer and science? Wait no more! We'll learn about the history of music in space from Dr. MacKenzie Warren and the newly discovered black hole lurking in our galactic center from Dr. Brian O'Shea.

During the talks, there will be opportunities to test out your astronomy knowledge and enter our raffles for a chance to win awesome prizes. Stick around until the end and ask local astronomers and astrophysicists your unanswered questions about the cosmos.

Astronomy is even better with beer! Scientists, educators, writers, artists & more reveal how they explore the universe at a bar near you! Each FREE event features accessible, engaging science presentations on topics ranging from planets to black holes to the beginning of the Universe. Presenters are from local research and educational institutions like Michigan State University. We have games and prizes to test your new-found knowledge! There is always lots of time to ask questions and interact with the presenters and other scientists who tag along for the beer.
