Warping Time and Searching for Extraterrestrial Life.

Featuring Mike Pajkos and Jessica Maldonado from MSU

March Madness? Who needs that when you can drink beer and explore the cosmos?

Come join us this month to enjoy some tasty drinks and exciting science. We'll be hearing from MSU PhD students Mike Pajkos and Jessica Maldonado. Jessica will teach us how astronomers search for signatures of extraterrestrial life that harness power from their host galaxy. And along with Mike, we'll be following an astronaut into a black hole and watching how time is stretched and squashed.

We'll have trivia questions, raffle prizes, and local astronomers ready to answer your cosmic questions. If you'll be showing up hungry, grab some takeout from your favorite Lansing culinary establishment and bring it along.
