DJ Infamous
DJ Infamous
The “youngest in charge” is often used to describe DJ Infamous; one of Atlanta’s most sought-after DJs. DJ Infamous can be experienced live at the hottest nightclubs in Atlanta including Tongue & Groove, Lucky Lounge, Primal and The Velvet Room. He’s also heard weekly on WVEE V-103 FM’s mix show on Monday through Friday 9PM-10PM, Infamy Radio on Sirius/XM, co-hosted by super producer Don Cannon and comedian Lil Duval, Thursdays from 10PM-12AM on Hip Hop Nation Channel 40, and seen nationally on BET, MTV and on tour with major label recording artists. DJ Infamous is also the only Atlanta member of the Heavy Hitters DJ crew ran by DJ Enuff with notable members DJ Felli Fell, DJ Prostyle (106 & Park), DJ Beverly Bond, Kanye West and the deceased Roc Raida.

Calvin “DJ Infamous” Donald was born in Lansing, Michigan, where he began honing his skills as a DJ as an 11 year old adolescent. A few years later, at 15, DJ Infamous was offered a gig djing live on 88.9 FM, a college radio station at Michigan State University. His position as a DJ, younger than any student attending the University, helped DJ Infamous gain unforeseen notoriety in the city.

After graduating from high school DJ Infamous attended Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University in Huntsville, AL. While at Alabama A&M, DJ Infamous landed a position as a Music Coordinator with the NBDL basketball team, the Huntsville Flight. Infamous also became a mix show DJ and radio personality at a new station in Huntsville called Power 93.3 FM, where he had the hottest 5 o'clock rush hour mix on Monday thru Friday, and his own show on Sundays.

Shortly after his stint at Power 93.3FM, Infamous landed an internship at Atlanta's #1 urban radio station WVEE V-103 FM "The People's Station" in the programming department. In 2005, he became a weekly mix show DJ on V-103 Monday through Friday 9PM-10PM, making him the youngest DJ mixing on a major radio station in Atlanta.

Infamous has also been tapped by Atlanta’s hottest promoters to DJ weekly parties at Tongue & Groove, Lucky Lounge, Primal and The Velvet Room. Beyond the nightclub circuit, DJ Infamous hosts several mixtapes per year, which has garnered spots on MTV’s Mixtape Daily, and the recently cancelled MTV’s Wild’n Out, MTV Direct Effect, BET’s Rap City and Showtime at the Apollo. DJ Infamous has expanded his reach by being the tour DJ with recording artists, Field Mob, Disturbing Tha Peace/Def Jam Recordings and Young Dro, Grand Hustle/Atlantic Records.

With plans to continue his rein, DJ Infamous has quickly transformed from the “youngest in charge” to the “Main Event!”
