2019 Homegrown Throwdown

The Homegrown Throwdown is back for its 16th year! This year, the Throwdown will be brought to you by Q106, Lansing’s home of rock! The Throwdown will feature 24 bands, 5 nights and a whole lot of rock and roll. Being a successful band is more than being good musically. It’s about stage presence, it’s about promotions, it’s about professionalism, and of course, it’s about the music.

There are some format changes to this year’s event, so please read below.

As each person enters the event, they will be given one voting slip. Also, if your band is selected to perform, you will be given 100 tickets. The amount of tickets you sell prior to doors opening the night of your performance is your score out of 100. Advance tickets are $10.
