Heartsick has made their presence known the old fashioned way blood, sweat, and a work ethic matched by few in the industry. Treating every show as if it was their last and every fan as if it was their first. After years of touring and playing under the name Know Lyfe the band has evolved still keeping its core sound and member vocalist Alfonso Civile, guitarist Jerred Pruneau, drummer Nico Killips, and bassist Waylon Fox.
With a new name and a new highly anticipated follow up record to 2011 "Empire Of Wolves," Heartsick is poised to explode beyond the borders of the Midwest and has already begun a new legendary chapter in their already legendary career.
Formed in Lansing, Michigan in 2009 with the concept of bringing positivity to their listeners, Of Virtue came out strong with their 2009 EP “To Breathe Again”. It was this which catapulted them into the ears of many of listeners eager for something new, something real. Knowing that they had captured the attention of a fan-base within an exhausted genre, their first full album, “Heartsounds” helped define a message of inspiring people across the globe to find their passion through Of Virtue's music. This release led to extensive live performances nationwide with bands ranging from Bring Me the Horizon and Architects to Smash Your Enemies and Lorna Shore. The band followed in 2012 with “Learn/Love”, a limited release EP, which sold out almost immediately. In 2015, Of Virtue added more power to their sound via the release, “Salvation”, an album which has grown to be a staple for the band's sound. Later in 2017, the band released a stand-alone single, “Ghost Town,” and quickly added it to their live show only to be met with.
Of Virtue continues touring constantly to bring its sound to as many people live as possible. They have performed in the majority of states in the Continental U.S, in 12 countries in Europe and beyond. They have sold music and merchandise to over 50 countries across 6 continents. They have played several major heavy music festivals including Warped Tour, Cornerstone, JAMboree, Bled Fest, and Rockapalooza. Hot Topic awarded them the Band Grand prize in 2010 and the Earn It Yourself tour, which put them on the Kevin Says Stage at Warped Tour Detroit in 2011. Of Virtue have built a reputation an unmatched act supporting such bands Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice and Men, Every Time I Die, The Ghost Inside, For Today, Architects, and many others. The band has no plans to stop or slow down soon, on the contrary.
Of Virtue is Tyler Ennis (Vocalist), Damon Tate (Guitarist), Michael Valadez (Guitarist), Jon Fox (Bassist), and Ryan Wilkinson (Drummer).
Assume Nothing is Riley Roush (vocals/guitar), Derek McClung (guitar/vocals), Tristan Miller (drums) and Nick Johnson (bass).
"Beyond All Mortal" is currently available on both digital and physical formats through iTunes, Amazon, Bandcamp, BigCartel, Spotify, Google Play, Rdio, Deezer, Tidal, Beats/MediaNet, and Apple Music.
Greywalker are currently playing shows in support of "Beyond All Mortal" and working on new material for 2016.
Keep on headbanging.
In 2015, InGhosts released their debut full-length record "Still Breathing" to fulfill all of these needs. From speaking to the need of music and the community alike in "Home" to surviving the battle wihtin yourself and suppression in the title track "Everon" vocalist Tyrus Denton leaves nothing behind closed doors.
The album was produced by Josh Schroeder (King 810, The Plot in You, The Color Morale, In Hearts Wake) who pushed the guys to their limits in every way possible to make the project everything they needed it to be at the time.
More recently. InGhosts paid Josh another visit to give "Still Breathing" a facelift for the Deluxe release. This combined with some B-Sides from previous work with Joey Sturgis and a challenging cover of Maroon 5's hit "Animals" makes the revised copy a must have for any Post-Hardcore friend.
New things are always on the horizon, until then come out and see them on the road!
Since their formation in early 2010, Lifecurse have left no stone unturned. Independently releasing two full length studio albums and distributing thousands of copies to fans across the country, the band's work ethic is admirable to say the least; providing full musical experiences where their peers are satisfied with brief EPs and single releases. Their devotion to their fans and fellow heavy music enthusiasts is also displayed by their incessant tour schedule. Planning and executing many of their own small excursions throughout 2012 and 2013 to support their sophomore release, Elysium, the band got their first big break as direct support for the legendary Norma Jean on their nationwide tour in 2014. Lifecurse's impressive resume doesn't end there--the band have acted as regional support for such genre-defining giants as The Ghost Inside, The Acacia Strain, All that Remains and Battlecross among several others. Since then, Lifecurse have receded from the public eye, planning tours and festivals, as well as writing and recording their third LP, The Wolf You Feed, an immense concept album spanning two discs. Adding a thick layer of icing to their already impressive cake of two full-length releases, The Wolf You Feed is sure to be the latest and greatest product from a band that has never slowed down in their constant push to deliver fresh and furious music to their fans.
Between touring the country, writing and recording immense, diverse and dynamic hit albums and playing countless local benefit shows for charities and charitable causes, Lifecurse are the "do or die" mentality come to life. With The Wolf You Feed set for a Spring 2017 release, and tours to support it, it's only a matter of time before this North Carolinian quintet devours your local scene.
